Final Depth Chart

The New York Giants are deep at the tight end position for the first time in a while. They added a speedy pass catching rookie and a free agent known for his blocking to go along with their top two tight ends from 2016.

The biggest question for the Giants at this position is will Big Blue keep three tight ends or four?

I think the Gmen hold onto Matt LaCosse as a fourth tight end to make up for not keeping a fullback. Rhett Ellison and Matt LaCosse’s blocking ability can be utilized inline or in the backfield.

Will Tye will make cutting him a very difficult decision but there just isn’t enough room for him after all of the offseason additions.

Tomorrow, we will take a look at the players these tight ends will be lining up next to as we preview the New York Giants offensive line.
