As we inch closer to the start of the NFL regular season, we break down each position on the New York Giants roster. Big Blue has one of the more talented defensive lines in football and their ability to get after the passer will be crucial to their success this season.

The New York Giants are at their best when they can get after the opposing quarterback. Lawrence Taylor, Michael Strahan, and Justin Tuck highlight a long list of top pass rushers in Big Blue’s history.

The Gmen currently have 16 defensive linemen on their roster and will likely keep either nine or ten when all is said and done. The Giants should keep four defensive tackles. The question is whether Big Blue will keep five defensive ends or six.

Jerry Reese and the Giants spent big money on the defensive line last offseason and added a few more pieces this year.

We’ll take a look at each DL and predict which ones will make the final 53-man roster.
