Evan Engram is ready to dazzle fans in the Big Apple. The first round pick is going to make a big splash in 2017.

Evan Engram has a chance to be the most valuable player for the New York Giants in 2017.

I’ll be honest, I was not a big fan of the pick right when it happened.

I felt like it didn’t address any needs, and that Big Blue passed on some really good talents. Now, my opinion has taken an entire 180.

Engram is going to have a huge amount of value to the Giants this season.

Last year, the high-powered New York Giants offense lacked one thing.

A great tight end.

Engram isn’t the most well-rounded tight end. He is more of a hybrid wide receiver, but he fits so well into the Giants offensive scheme.

Last year, the Giants battled with Larry Donnell, Will Tye, and Jerell Adams. I wouldn’t say any of those three have superstar potential. Tye came on strong, but he isn’t nearly the tight end Evan Engram is going to be.

Engram is a perennial matchup nightmare running out of the slot. There is no corner that can hold off his strength, and there isn’t a linebacker that can run with him. He is going to be a red zone dream for Eli Manning.

I know we haven’t seen Engram in an in-game situation against NFL caliber talent, but he is set to be a great NFL-er in a few years time.

His first year in the league is going to be fun to watch.

He makes up one part of one of the best receiving corps in the NFL. He is going to learn a lot from playing alongside the likes of Odell Beckham Jr., Brandon Marshall, and even Sterling Shepard.

Eli loves his tight ends in the red zone, so Engram is going to be a touchdown threat near the goal line every time down the field.
