The night started magnificently for the Giants passing game. Eli Manning completed his first 10 passes of the game, and connected with Odell Beckham Jr. for a touchdown to cap off their opening drive of the game. But that Larry Donnell reception turned interception really got things rolling downhill in a bad way.

It was a disaster for Manning and the Giants after that. He no longer was getting time in the pocket, as the offensive line could not pass protect. Manning was under constant pressure all night, dink and dunking just to avoid getting sacks. He was unable to do it on multiple occasions, as he was sacked four times for 30 yards lost and called for intentional grounding two times.

Manning would complete only 14-of-28 after that hot start, throwing two interceptions. On the night, he finished 24-of-38 for 189 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Beckham Jr. led the way with 61 receiving yards and seven catches. He was also bottled up, as he had only one target in the second half to put into perspective how tough an evening the Giants had.

Rueben Randle was able to catch five passes for 44 yards, but seemed to be hampered by the hamstring injury that caused him to miss a lot of practice this week. Dwayne Harris and Shane Vereen didn’t have the same impact in the passing game as the previous weeks, and Myles White did his best Preston Parker impersonation dropping a pass that Manning placed right into his arms up the sideline.

It was an ugly performance all around as the Giants will look to get back on track next week.
