It's been a sluggish start for the New York Jets, who have failed to live up to the preseason hype. Their recent loss against the Denver Broncos in Week 4 shows their weaknesses. Many players and management alike are responsible for New York's recent struggles. These notable names include Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson, and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.

However, they could end these problems if they get aggressive and go all-in for All-Pro WR Davante Adams.

News has it that the Jets could land Davante Adams in a blockbuster deal. This is not the first time we heard the Jets rumored for him. The Las Vegas Raiders may seem intrigued by what New York may have to offer in exchange for Adams, who requested a trade on Tuesday.

New York has the draft picks to get a deal done. To make it even sweeter, the Jets can add disgruntled pass-rusher Hassan Reddick, which would make the deal harder to pass on.

Just recently, it was reported that Adams has lost interest in playing any longer for the Raiders. It seems that he is unhappy and a change of scenery may need to happen for him to play more often again. If there is one location that makes the most sense, it's New York.

Landing Adams Can Solidify Jets' Super Bowl Chances

Indeed, if the Jets are able to pull up the blockbuster deal it would boost their chances for a Super Bowl run.

It gives aging Aaron Rodgers better weapons and his favorite target instead of just relying on the same players every week. On top of that, he and Rodgers are no strangers when it comes to playing together.

They played in unison for eight seasons during their time back with Green Bay with great chemistry during their last run. Simply put, this deal needs to happen.
