The New York Jets added several intriguing pieces in last week's NFL Draft, including a new running back who looks set to help the AFC East team fight for he division crown in 2024. Braelon Allen is a fourth-round pick for the Jets, being selected as the No. 134 overall pick in this year's draft.

Coming out of Wisconsin, Allen will try to bring a spark to the Jets' offense. They still have Breece Hall on the roster, but adding a piece like Allen will surely help the New Yorkers. The team hasn't hesitated to show their excitement about this prospect, even sharing an impressive video of Allen working out during his college days.

At age 18, Allen was already a strong force at Wisconsin. He's now keen to make an impact on the new-look Jets' offense. After a busy offseason, the Jets have revamped their offense, adding notable players like Mike Williams, Tyron Smith and Tyrod Taylor.

This isn't the first time Allen has shown off his strength for the cameras either, as he posted a similar video in 2021, doing the same drill at 17. This guy still has things to polish in the NFL, but his size and power were too good to ignore for the Jets.

Now Allen is joining a franchise poised to bounce back after a disappointing 2023 season. Aaron Rodgers' season-ending injury played a key role in the Jets' struggles all season long. They traded Zach Wilson this offseason too, meaning this team is more than ready for a fresh start.

Everything points out New York can have a much better season in 2024 and if this guy can find his spot, the Jets' backfield would be a menace for the rest of the league. They can still add some undrafted players, but as things stand right now, they're on the right track for next season.
