Scenario 4: Giants Move Out of the Top 10, Colts Get a Playmaker

In this scenario, the Colts trade up either for a weapon for Anthony Richardson or for a cornerback as they need help on defense. The Giants would send the sixth overall pick to Indianapolis in exchange for the fifteenth overall pick, the 46th overall pick, the Colts 2025 second-round pick, and the Colts 2025 sixth-round pick.

The Giants would give up 1600 points according to the Draft Value chart while returning 1490 points in 2025 and anywhere from 600 to 273 points in 2025.

The Giants would then use the fifteenth pick on either the best player available or on LSU Wide Receiver Brian Thomas Jr who led college football in touchdowns in 2023. They'd then use the 46th pick and their own 47th pick likely on Trey Benson at running back and a cornerback like Max Melton from Rutgers.

This scenario is pretty good for the Giants as they'd still land in the top half of the draft picking at 15. The downside is that the Giants are likely missing out on some of the top players at positions like cornerback, wide receiver, and edge rusher. The Giants make out pretty well, however, landing a pair of top 50 picks while picking up draft capital which they can use in a trade in the 2025 draft.
