Overall Analysis

On paper, this is by far the best and most complete New York Jets offense we’ve seen in a long time and the organization knows it.

They could’ve built an average team around Darnold and progressively gotten better over the years, but they instead invested in some of the best young players possible and are going for the jugular. This rebuild is a little different than the other win-now rebuilds as this one has the potential to sustain and allow the Jets to be good for years.

Gang Green has a developing quarterback with a high ceiling. Sam Darnold is expected to lead this team through the next decade. General Manager Mike Maccagnan brought in several skill position playmakers that will take some of the burden off of his quarterback.

Bell and Montgomery are dual-threat backs who can break almost any play for big yards. Adding Crowder to the wide receiver mix gives Darnold another credible option downfield. The offensive line is the biggest question mark, That group needs to come together and do a much more effective job than they did last year.
