New York Giants: Realistic finishes for every NFC East team- playoffs for Giants?

2017 Finish: 7-9, Missed Playoffs
Since drafting RGIII and Kirk Cousins in 2012, the Redskins franchise has been very inconsistent.
They won the division in 2012 and 2015 and came in dead last in 2013 and 2014. The past two years they have finished third.
But, this season being the first one without RGIII or Kirk Cousins at the helm, it will be a different Redskin team.
This defense can be sneaky good. They have strong veteran linebackers that can cover in Zach Brown and ones that can rush the passer in Ryan Kerrigan.
Also, they have a secondary that is deep and loaded with veterans that’s lead by once All-Pro Josh Norman.
The only question mark is their defensive line. They are still young with guys such as Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne, but they are quite talented.
If played to their potential, watch out because this defense could be sneaky good.
There has been so much talk this offseason about the offense for the Redskins. The talk has been about whether or not this offense will be better or worse with new quarterback Alex Smith.
Manny believe the game manager will provide a boost for this offense, when in fact, it might just lead to their downfall as an offense.
Alex Smith just came off a season where he put up career numbers. Yes, that makes sense when you are surrounded by guys like Kareem Hunt (the NFL’s rushing leader), Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.
So, Smith was surrounded by Pro Bowl talent and that showed as he was taking shots down the field and putting up big numbers.
But, this Redskin offense doesn’t have those weapons. They’re receiving core is nice and could provide a spark but they won’t scare defenses like a Tyreek Hill could.
Jordan Reed can’t stay on the field and the Redskins have about five different running backs that they need to hand the ball off too.
Outlook for the Redskins in 2019 is a projected record of 4-12
This Redskins team just doesn’t have much dynamic ability on offense. Alex Smith will turn into a game manager once again like when his old team lost to the Titans in the playoffs.
Their defense can be a building block for the future but the schedule is too tough and this roster just doesn’t compare to other rosters what they will play on the schedule.
