Darnold in the swing of things

The New York Jets almost pulled off the most New York Jets things ever by not having Sam Darnold signed for most of camp. However, a deal recently got done and he is in the full swing of things at Jets training camp now.

The New York Giants have a lot of hype around them too right now but nothing can be more sweet for Jets fans than having the Darnold issue resolved.

This never really should have been a problem and it might not have been the Jets’ fault but Darnold was dangerously close to missing too much time.

But, that is all for null and void because he is at camp as we speak and he is getting his reps in and it is awesome.

The Jets begin their pre-season this week with a game against Atlanta Falcons and although it is not likely Darnold starts that game it is good him to get out there at some point which is something he is ready for now.

The New York Jets are still in the process of getting better bad it starts one step at a time, especially at the QB position where they are in a three-man race.

But, Jets fans should sleep comfortably now that everything is going according to plan after that scare. It’s okay to let Jets fans have something awesome, they deserve it.
