New York Giants 2018 Schedule: Predicting Wins and Losses for Big Blue – Part II
By Sean Dyer
Week 17
Despite finishing the season at home, the New York Giants will close the 2018 season with a loss. I’m not sure if the Dallas Cowboys will be fighting for a playoff spot at this point in the season, but it’s a divisional game so both teams should play hard.
Big Blue should be able to move the ball against Dallas’s defense as long as Eli Manning has enough time to throw the ball. Odell Beckham Jr. has proven in the past that the Cowboys can’t contain him. Dallas’s loss of Anthony Hitchens in free agency should also help Evan Engram get open.
Stopping Ezekiel Elliott is hard but Damon Harrison and company have done a good job containing him in the past. Without Dez Bryant, the Cowboys also lack offensive weapons for Dak Prescott.
If Dez signs with the Giants, maybe his motivated play helps Big Blue win one of their matchups with Dallas in 2018. As it stands, though, I think the Cowboys edge out the Giants in both contests.

The New York Giants go 6-2 in the second half of the season after getting used to Pat Shurmur’s coaching style. They finish the 2018 season 8-8, miss the playoffs, but give fans hope moving forward.
