Yet another week where Jets running backs had more yards through the air then on the ground. One of the biggest reasons this team cannot finish games is because they cannot run the ball with a lead and burn time off the clock.
That was apparent yet again Sunday as New York ran for an abysmal 43 yards on 22 carries. Bilal Powell ld the group in carries and yards with 14 touches for 33 yards.
The only reason this grade is a C was because of their contributions in the passing game. Matt Forte tied for a team high in catches hauling in six passes for 45 yards. Bilal Powell also added three more catches for 28 yards out of the backfield.
If Todd Bowles wants his team to finish games, one place where the team can finish these games is if they can get this unit back to ground and pound and finish the game off with a strong rushing attack.
