The New York Giants are now 0-2 and have yet to find an offensive rhythm. Big Blue needs to get it together as an 0-3 start will be extremely hard to come back from to earn a playoff spot. Here are the players who will have to figure things out in Week 3.

An 0-2 start has New York Giants fans worrying. Is it time to panic in the Meadowlands?

It’s not quite panic time yet but a loss this weekend to the division rival Philadelphia Eagles could put Big Blue in a hole that will be hard to get out of.

The offensive line has gotten most of the attention for being the cause of the Giants problem but the offense as a whole has struggled.

Eli Manning has not played well. The wide receivers have not gotten open. The running backs have not been able to make defenders miss. It’s a mess.

As for the defense, they’ve played as well as a defense can play that’s on the field all the time and has to watch their offense continuously sputter and get in its own way.

Landon Collins has been great. Olivier Vernon has generated pressure on the quarterback. Damon Harrison continues to clog the middle and his new partner in crime, rookie Dalvin Tomlinson, has replaced Johnathan Hankins even better than most expected.

Although they missed Week 2 due to injury, B.J. Goodson and Janoris Jenkins both played well in Week 1 and will hopefully get back on the field soon.

Heading to Philadelphia in Week 3, the New York Giants need to get their offense straightened out. Ben McAdoo vows changes are coming. Perhaps he’ll give up his play-calling duties.

No matter who is calling plays on Sunday, these three players need to step up against the Eagles.
