Goodson is the guy that will bring us back into the great era of linebackers. Let’s face it, it’s been tough to watch guys start on the Giants that wouldn’t start anywhere else in the league.

Finally, we have a guy that could be a perennial Pro-Bowler, and be a Giant for a long time.

Every Super Bowl winning team the Giants have had all had one thing in common.

They had a great defense led by an incredible defensive threat at the linebacker position.

It was Lawrence Taylor in the 1980s, Antonio Pierce in the 2000s, and Blackburn had his moment of glory in 2012.

Now is BJ Goodson’s time, and I can’t wait for him to make good on his chance. He’s the man of the present, and of the future, but most of all, he’s the leader.

He is going to give the Giants a great chance at winning the Super Bowl, and he isn’t even the feature piece of the defense.

The surrounding talent will take eyes off of him, but make no mistake, he will do enough to get eyes on him soon enough.
