New York Giants: Is this year Super Bowl or Bust?
The New York Giants continue to bolster their chances at a Super Bowl. With some key additions, 2017 could be a championship season, but if it isn’t… Is it a bust?
New York Giants fans have a lot to be excited for in 2017.
With the addition of Brandon Marshall and Evan Engram to the offense, and the re-signing of Keenan Robinson, the G-Men look poised to make a Super Bowl run.
There is no telling what the end result of this year holds, but if the Lombardi Trophy isn’t in John Mara’s hands… it could spell trouble for “Big Blue”.

See, the line backing corps is the Giants biggest problem. After this season, Jonathan Casillas, J.T. Thomas, Keenan Robinson, and Devon Kennard are all in-restricted free agents.
Casillas and Robinson ranked in the top five in tackles team wide for the Giants. They are integral parts to an already weak spot in an otherwise league topping defense.
Outside of the linebackers, the New York Giants have to deal with an aging Eli Manning.
There’s no telling how much time “Easy E” has left in the tank, but this year could be the last before a career fall off.
At 36-years-old, Manning is nearing the “Quarterback Cliff” of 39 years of age. There’s no guarantee he falls off, but judging by every quarterback besides Tom Brady, the fall off is more than likely.
The New York Giants aren’t Super Bowl or bust, but they’re on the brink.
Young and talented players want to stick around New York to see what will happen the next few years. Odell Beckham Jr. is going to (hopefully) get paid, and the team will go from there.

With guys like Landon Collins and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie off the books in 2019, there is a decision to be made.
So, no. This season isn’t Super Bowl or bust, but come this time next year, a larger discussion will be had on the issue.
