New York Giants: Top Five Players in need of a Big Preseason
Number Five- Ereck Flowers, T
Look, I know Ereck Flowers is a starter on the New York Giants, but come on, he was tough to watch last year.
He needs to come in this season, and own his role in the blind side. This isn’t a position battle, but it is important for Flowers to kill it.
I’ve given Flowers a ton of flack over the course of the last year.
He has all the size in the world, but his footwork is just horrible. It was his job to go out this offseason and work on it.
The season is just around the corner, and now we wait to see what he’s done to improve.
Flowers has to see some in game action once the preseason games actually begin for Big Blue. He can show up in practice all he wants, but I want to see him up against guys giving it their all for a roster spot.
Flowers has to get his arms up and get in front of these pass rushers if he wants to be a great offensive lineman in this league.
This preseason is a time for him to get reps, and get better, in order to improve the weak blind side of the Giants offense.
