New York Giants: Top Five Players in need of a Big Preseason

The New York Giants are about to get 2017 under way. Some roster spots are on the line, and some players are going to have to have a big preseason.

The New York Giants are almost set to dive into 2017, but before that, they have to get through the preseason.

Ah yes the NFL Preseason. Arguably the least exciting time of the year for any football fan, but for some players, it means everything.

Guys are fighting for roster spots everyday, and that’s what makes the preseason fun to watch. We don’t go to see Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. We go to see guys like Davis Webb and Roger Lewis fight for their future.

Human beings are cynical by nature, and they love to see fights. This season, there’s going to be a ton of position battles on the New York Giants.

It’s not going to be a top depth chart spot, but it’s going to be spots where guys have bigger roles than they imagined.

This preseason, there are at least five guys that need to perform in order to keep a job in 2017.
