EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – SEPTEMBER 25: Orleans Darkwa /

Number Four- Orleans Darkwa

Orleans Darkwa is hands down one of my favorite runners to watch.

He puts his head down, he’s strong, and he has getaway speed, but there’s just one problem. He doesn’t possess the raw talent necessary to be the feature back for the New York Giants.

Darkwa has had his moments of glory in blue, but it’s just not enough.

He doesn’t have everything a feature back needs to be successful in this league. One thing he does have though is speed, and lots of it.

I don’t think that the New York Giants will want to get rid of Darkwa, but a team can’t carry that many backs. He’s not worth the roster spot at this point, and that’s upsetting to me as a fan.

I don’t know about everyone else, but I love to root for a player like Darkwa. It’s because he doesn’t have the flash and flair of a first round pick.

If the guys ahead of him can produce, Darkwa will find himself without a Sunday job very soon.
