New York Knicks: Will Carmelo Anthony join CP3 in Houston?
Carmelo is entering the final year of his contract with the Knicks, but it appears that he will not play that final year with the Knicks. But will it be in Houston?

The Rockets do not appear to be done after trading for Chris Paul. There have been rumors tied to the Knicks that they would attempt to go after a player such as Carmelo Anthony or Paul George. The Rockets are better now with Chris Paul, but they cannot beat the Warriors yet.
Carmelo Anthony is a player who has been great in the NBA since he joined the league back in 2003. But he has never won a championship and the time is running out. Houston may be the best fit for him.
If the Knicks did trade Carmelo to Houston the possible starting lineup would be Chris Paul, James Harden, Carmelo Anthony, Ryan Anderson and Clint Capela. That would be a team with a legitimate chance to get past the Warriors and Spurs and into the Finals.
So why won’t Carmelo end up in Houston?

This past May Mike D’Antoni admitted that he quit because of Carmelo Anthony. So now that D’Antoni is the head coach of the Rockets and just won coach of the year it would not make sense for Anthony to end up with his buddy CP3 in Houston.

With all this being said Carmelo Anthony will not end up in a Houston Rockets jersey. But this does not mean that he will be in a Knicks jersey.
