Number Five: Trade Chase Headley

It really pains me to say this, but it’s time to let Chase Headley pack his bags.

The steady third baseman has been anything but that so far in 2017. He started the season hot, but has since cooled off at an alarming rate.

Headley is the Yankees starting third baseman, but with Gleyber Torres on his way to the majors, Headley should start saying his goodbyes.

Now, it would be a hasty move to get rid of him so quick, but it is necessary.

New York needs a little spark from another young gun. Torres is that guy, and if Headley doesn’t improve, they have to ditch him.

He’s been a cancer to this offense, and if they want to keep winning, they have to trade him.  don’t care what they get for the guy, but it has to be better than what he’s given the last two months.

Sorry Chase, but your days as a New York Yankee are numbered.
