The New York Yankees are sitting atop the AL East after taking two from the Red Sox. With the midsummer classic approaching, we look at the top five things they have to do to ride this dominance out.

The New York Yankees started the season in what most thought would be a rebuilding phase. Now, it’s eyes on the prize for the Bronx Bombers in 2017.

The Yankees are dominating AL East opponents so far this season. The bats are smoking, and the pitching is more consistent than most thought it would be.

There is subject to think that the Bombers will ride at the top until the All-Star break, but they will have to do some key things.

Yankees fans have enjoyed success across the board, but some of it seems too good to be true. The youth is producing at an unbelievable rate, and even CC Sabathia is pitching out of his mind.

This type of production is baffling, but fans can’t complain about it. Wins are wins, and the Yankees have a ton of them.

In order to continue this storied dominance, the New York Yankees are going to have to stay consistent, and even make some changes, before the All Star Break.
