Check out our slideshow of the five undrafted free agents to watch during the New York Giants minicamp that begins today.

The New York Giants are still months away from beginning the regular season. It will be a little while until we can see the new guys in a game situation. Until then, we will get our first chance of seeing some of the newest Giants this weekend.

The Giants rookie minicamp begins this weekend. The first year players and other participants reported to Giants minicamp on Thursday. Today will be the first time that we get to see some of the younger Giants in action during the three-day camp.

Everyone will be excited to see the Giants 2017 NFL Draft class in action. The athleticism of Evan Engram will be on full display during these workouts. It will be the first time we get to see Davis Webb sling the ball around and Wayne Gallman make some carries. Adam Bisnowaty will be blocking for them on some occasions. Along the defensive line, we will get our first look at second round pick Dalvin Tomlinson and fifth round pick Avery Moss.

The draft picks will garner a lot of the attention. But, their standing is pretty well known. All of the players the Giants used a draft pick on are likely to make the roster; the Giants wouldn’t have selected them otherwise. The same cannot be said for the undrafted free agents.

Undrafted free agents are already facing an uphill battle by not being drafted. There is very little, if any, guaranteed money in their deals. They are playing for a chance not only to make the Giants but showcase their talents for other teams around the league if they don’t stick around in the Meadowlands.

The Giants have 14 undrafted free agents that will be in the rookie minicamp. There are a few that have a chance to make some noise and garner attention. Check out our slideshow of the five undrafted free agents to watch for during Giants minicamp this weekend.
