New York Giants need Linebacker in the 2017 Draft
The New York Giants have been rumored to take offensive tackles, and even running backs. Their real need is a linebacker in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
The New York Giants are ready to compete for a Lombardi Trophy, and the player they need to do it is going to be in the NFL Draft.
It’s not a tight end, or a running back. It’s a linebacker.
Whether the fans like it or not, the Giants need a linebacker in this year’s draft. Whether it be Zack Cunningham from Vanderbilt, or God willing, Haason Reddick from Temple, the Giants need an enforcer.
Yes, I’m well aware that we need an offensive tackle, but I just don’t trust Jerry Reese to draft one. He’s struck out too many times on offensive linemen for me to want him to take one.

Look at this year’s draft class. The linebacker pool has an endless supply of talent, and the Giants have to pounce on it.
This year is set to be a championship caliber season in New York. The Giants need a hybrid rusher with their defense to even have a chance.
The defense last year was one of the best in the league, but it lacked in the pass rush department. They just don’t have that guy right now, and he’s going to be sitting out there on April 27th.
I don’t about the rest of the Big Blue faithful, but I’m tired of being almost great.
Get the act together and make the right decision Mr. Reese. As much as I’m an expert on this stuff, he has to realize that not being able to run a consistent 4-3 set is agonizing.

Don’t get me wrong, the offensive line is really bad, but the defense has always won the Giants championships.
New York Giants fans love our defense. Go get a linebacker. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.
