Number Five: Toronto Blue Jays (2-10)

Oh wow… what a start up in Toronto.

The Blue Jays have been abysmal to start the 2017 campaign, and it’s honestly just painful to watch. Here is a team that should be competing for the top spot in the east, and they already have 10 losses on the year.

Look, I understand that they’re without MVP Josh Donaldson, and I understand that Jose Bautista is getting old, but come on… 10 losses?

It’s early, and there’s a lot of season yet to be played, but the Jays have to turn it around. The thing that separates a good team from a great team is how they play when their stars are out. This week has proven that without Donaldson, the Jays are very weak.

They don’t even crack the top 25 in any of the major hitting categories. They rank last in the league in runs, 27th in batting average, and 29th in hits. Big thanks to the Blue Jays for making the choice for number five so easy.
