Number Four: Tampa Bay Rays (6-8)

The Rays started off the season taking two out of three from the Yankees, but they’ve since cooled off.

This year looks like another year where the Rays take a backseat in the division, and then they ruin someone’s playoff hopes. They do it every year. It is so aggravating.

For the record, the Rays have a good team with some young talent, but they just aren’t as well-rounded as other teams in the division.

This team just screams mediocrity. If you look up the word “average” in the dictionary, you’ll find the Tampa Bay Rays. They rank in the top 15 in all major batting categories, and the same in all major pitching categories.

They’re a middle-of-the-road type team, and it doesn’t seem like they’re making a push any time soon.
