Brooklyn Nets To Be Without Two Rotation Players vs New York Knicks
The Brooklyn Nets will be without Sean Kilpatrick and Joe Harris when they face the New York Knicks tonight.
The Brooklyn Nets are playing out the stretch run of the season with a record of 12-54. It has been a good opportunity for the Nets to evaluate some of their younger players. Against the New York Knicks tonight, the Nets will have even more minutes available.
The Nets and Knicks will face off for the second time this week. The Nets took the matchup on Sunday evening, winning 120-112. This time around, they will be without some players.
The Nets come into the game against the Knicks with a couple of banged up players. Guard Sean Kilpatrick was ruled out for the game on Wednesday. Kilpatrick injured his hamstring against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night and was unable to return to the game. It is being diagnosed as a strained left hamstring.
Kilpatrick is not the only Net that will be missing the game against the Knicks. Guard Joe Harris will also miss the game, as he is dealing with a concussion and sprained left shoulder. The Brooklyn Nets PR Account shared the news on Twitter.

Harris has not played since March 3rd against the Utah Jazz. It should be no surprise that the Nets are taking a cautious approach with Harris, as they have little to play for this season. Rushing him back before he is 100 percent healthy makes little sense, so it is no surprise that they are still holding him out against the Knicks.
With Kilpatrick and Harris both out there will be plenty of minutes available on the wing. Caris LeVert could flirt with minutes in the mid-high 30’s, while Randy Foye will also see an uptick in playing time. Could this also be the first time we see K.J. McDaniels, whom the Nets acquired from the Houston Rockets at the trade deadline, get extended minutes? With two rotation players out, McDaniels should get his first real playing time with the Nets.

The Nets are not the only team dealing with injury concerns in this game. Knicks power forward Kristaps Porzingis was also ruled out for the game. Porzingis suffered a thigh contusion in a collision with Monta Ellis on Tuesday night and will be sidelined as well.
