The Brooklyn Nets have had a poor season as expected. If they do decide to trade center Brook Lopez, here are five possible destinations.

With another poor season for the Brooklyn Nets, center Brook Lopez has had his name mentioned in trade rumors. Lopez is one of the best offensive centers in the NBA, and he could help the Nets restock some draft picks if he was traded.

To start his career, Lopez was frequently injured. After playing every game in the first three years of his career, Lopez was able to play in just five games in his fourth season. Another major injury in the 2013-14 season limited Lopez to just 17 games that season. After missing so much time in a span of three seasons, many feared Lopez’s career was in danger.

Despite many doubting his health, Lopez has been able to stay healthy for the Nets for the past two and half years. There hasn’t been a lot of winning during that stretch, but Lopez has played well.

As a good scorer and a true center, Lopez could be a piece that pushes a team over the top for their playoff push. While Lopez could be a building block for the Nets, they simply don’t have the proper assets to rebuild without draft picks.

Moving Lopez will certainly make the Nets worse this season. However, trading him could be the move that greatly helps them rebuild for the future. Here are five teams that would be good fits for Lopez this season.
