The New York Knicks are in a precarious position. They are struggling with a record of 22-31, which puts pressure on the front office; should they make a push for the postseason, or hit the reset button and rebuild?

We will figure out which direction the Knicks are heading in the coming weeks. The NBA Trade Deadline is February 23rd and by that time we will know whether the Knicks will make a playoff push or play for ping-pong balls.

More from New York Knicks

The Knicks will be involved in rumors regardless of which direction they head in. As a result, we will hear things about plenty of players going here or there and included in proposed deals. Players could be on the move to other teams via trade or released to make room for trades to be completed.

Which players could be on the move? The biggest domino that needs to fall is Carmelo Anthony. What they decide to do with their star player will determine which direction the team will head in. If he is moved, other veterans will probably be moved as well. But, if he stays, the Knicks could look to upgrade at other spots to make a playoff push.

Is Anthony the likeliest player to be traded? Or will the Knicks look to reshuffle their bench by moving some spare pieces? Check out our slideshow of the five likeliest players to not be with the Knicks once the NBA Trade Deadline passes; whether it be via trade, release, or buyout.
