The Cleveland Cavaliers will be paying a visit to the New York Knicks tonight in primetime. This will be the third time that the Cavaliers and Knicks face off this season, with the Cavaliers winning convincingly the first two times.
Cleveland won by 29 on opening night at home and then won by 32 at Madison Square Garden in early December. With how the two teams are currently playing, another blowout could be on the docket.
The Knicks have struggled mightily since Christmas. They have won only six times and barely squeaked by the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. The Cavaliers have had some struggles of their own as well, which resulted in LeBron James going off about the team needing to add a playmaker in a post game interview.
The Cavaliers have won three of their last four games since a three-game losing streak and looked to be locking in once again. That could spell trouble for the Knicks, who are beginning a five-game homestand tonight against Cleveland.

This could be a season-defining stretch of games for the Knicks. After the Cavaliers visit, the Knicks will host four Western Conference teams including the Los Angeles Clippers and San Antonio Spurs. If the Knicks can knock off the Cavaliers it could get them some momentum that they are desperately lacking.
The Knicks could be a bit shorthanded tonight. Derrick Rose is listed as questionable as he still deals with an ankle injury suffered last week. Forward Lance Thomas is also out still as he is experiencing headaches from his orbital fracture.
The Knicks bench has been playing well of late, and they will once again have a chance to showcase their skill. This time, it will come on primetime against the defending NBA Champions.
