The New York Knicks picked up an impressive come from behind victory over the Charlotte Hornets Friday night.
The New York Knicks have had plenty of struggles at the end of the games this season. Friday night they were able to overcome their struggles for a come from behind victory over the Charlotte Hornets.
It was a back-and-forth game all night. The Hornets held a five-point lead going into the fourth quarter that the Knicks were able to overcome. They were able to get the lead and victory on the back of an impressive defensive performance.
The Knicks held the Hornets scoreless for 6:11 in the fourth quarter when they mounted their comeback. It helped them get back into the game and eventually take the lead for good.
The Knicks got excellent production tonight from their bench, which has been a sore spot at times this season. It is a welcome sight, as Joakim Noah only played 12 minutes and Derrick Rose injured his ankle in the third quarter.

The slack was picked up by Kyle O’Quinn, Billy Hernangomez, and Brandon Jennings. Justin Holiday and Mindaugas Kuzminskas also chipped in, helping to cover for an off shooting night from Carmelo Anthony.
It was a total team effort tonight from the Knicks, who had six players score in double-figures. The Hornets had five players of their own score in double-figures as the Knicks struggled to contain a couple of players. They received solid contributions from role players Marvin Williams and Marco Belinelli, who combined to score 32 points and hit seven three-pointers.
The Knicks got solid contributions as well and were able to overcome the solid play of the Hornets. With the victory, the Knicks have won the season series against the Hornets 2-1, picking up victories in both games at Madison Square Garden.
