The Washington Wizards face the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on January 19th, 2017. Here is all the information you will need to watch the game.

The Washington Wizards travel to Madison Square Garden for the first time this season to play against the New York Knicks. This is the second time this season the teams will play, as the Wizards won the first matchup 119-112 in Washington.

Both teams head into this matchup on a positive note. Both played Wednesday night, and both came away with victories. The Wizards defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 104-101 and the Knicks defeated the Boston Celtics 117-106.

Luckily for the Knicks, this game will be played at MSG. The Wizards won their fourth consecutive game last night at home, pushing their record at the Verizon Center to 18-6 on the season. The Knicks are better at home as well, going 12-9 at MSG this season.

This is another important game for the Knicks who are trying to get their season back on track. Their victory over the Celtics was a good step in the right direction, but can they repeat that performance if they are shorthanded again?

The Knicks were without two starters against the Celtics, as Kristaps Porzingis and Joakim Noah both missed the game. Lance Thomas was also out, leaving the Knicks very shorthanded in the frontcourt. They got excellent performances from Willy Hernangomez, Marshall Plumlee, and Mindaugas Kuzminskas as replacements; can they do it again?

The Knicks will have their hands full trying to contain the Wizards dynamic duo of John Wall and Bradley Beal in the backcourt. Defense has been a struggle for the Knicks all season; will they be able to contain Wall and Beal? We will have to watch and see.
