1.) Try to Slow Down Rodgers

The most daunting task for the Giants on Sunday will be trying to stop Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. After a rough stretch in the middle of the season, there has been no better quarterback in the NFL recently than Rodgers. On the Packers’ six-game winning streak, Rodgers has totaled 15 touchdown passes and zero interceptions.

In the regular season matchup, the Giants were able to create some problems for Rodgers. In that game, Rodgers totaled 259 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and two interceptions. Forcing Rodgers into mistakes is a difficult thing to do. Doing it at Lambeau Field is an extremely impressive feat.

Unfortunately, the Giants’ offense wasn’t able to take advantage of the Packers’ defense. However, the Giants’ defense should be coming into Sunday with some confidence. Aside from Jason-Pierre-Paul being out, the Giants are fairly healthy on the defensive side of the ball. Having Janoris Jenkins healthy to cover Jordy Nelson will be key, as Nelson is the favorite target for Rodgers.

Due to injuries to their running backs, expect to see a lot of throwing from Rodgers on Sunday. The Giants’ defense will have to be up to the challenge, as Rodgers is a difficult player to beat on his home-field.
