2.) Give Eli Time

The most glaring issue for the Giants on offense this season has been their offensive line. The Packers are one of the better teams in the NFL at getting to the quarterback, and that could cause a problem. This season, the Packers are ranked sixth in the NFL in sacks with 40 as a team.

In their matchup during the regular season, the Packers were able to get to Manning three times. This season, Manning has only been sacked 22 times. However, a lot of that has to do with how quickly Manning gets rid of the ball. Also, the Giants offense has been designed to run quick routes because of their inability to protect Manning.

Against a banged up Packers secondary, the Giants can exploit some matchups if Manning gets time. Odell Beckham Jr. has the potential to have a big game on Sunday. However, Manning needs the time to get him the ball. The Packers’ defense will certainly live with the short underneath catches for Beckham. What they don’t want, is for him to beat them for big plays.

Stopping a talented Packers’ pass-rush will be a challenge, but the Giants’ offense can get a huge boost if they are able to.
