Even though the Jets don’t play the 49ers often, wide receiver Brandon Marshall is familiar with the team. In 2014, Marshall had one of the best games of his career against the 49ers. In his three-touchdown performance against the 49ers, Marshall says he really doesn’t remember a whole lot of it.

"“I don’t really remember much about that game because I worked really hard to get back from a high ankle [sprain],” Marshall said to Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com. “I’ll say it: I took a couple pain pills that masked the pain,” Marshall said to Wagoner. “I really wasn’t supposed to play. I came back from a high ankle [sprain] within 10 days. I was supposed to be out four to six weeks. I don’t remember much from that game. I just remember catching those balls. And that was pretty much it.”"

Due to some ineffective play from the quarterback position, Marshall has had a down season. In 2016, Marshall has totaled 53 receptions, 711 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns. Even though the season hasn’t gone to plan, Marshall still can get to 1,000 receiving yards. With rookie Bryce Petty under center, Marshall could make life easier on the rookie with a big game.
