– Beckham isn’t enough

Coming into Sunday’s game, all eyes were on the great wide receivers for both teams. Odell Beckham Jr. and Antonio Brown are two of the best in the business, and it was a rare treat to see them share the field.

With some bragging rights on the line, both players, of course, played well. In the win, Antonio Brown totaled six receptions, 54 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown. Due to their success on the ground, the Steelers were never forced to air it out with a comfortable lead for most of the game.

Due to the Giants trailing the entire game, their offense was forced to throw the ball often. Eli Manning may not have played well, but he did get the ball in the hands of his best player often. In the loss, Beckham totaled 10 receptions and 100 receiving yards.

For Beckham, it was the first time that he totaled 100 receiving yards since his monster performance against the Baltimore Ravens. The solid game for Beckham also allowed him to eclipse the 1,000-yard receiving mark for the season. Beckham did most of his damage in the second half for the Giants, as it was clearly their mission to get him more involved after halftime.
