– A.J. Green is shut down

One of the most exciting matchups of Week 1 will be wide receiver A.J. Green against cornerback Darrelle Revis. Green is without a doubt one of the best wide receivers in the entire NFL, and he will challenge Revis.

2015 was considered a down season for Revis. In addition to it being his first back in New York with a lot of expectations, he also battled some injuries. One of the reasons for his struggles was his wrist, which was surgically repaired this offseason.

Revis is one of the best in the business in one-on-one coverage, but that requires the ability to jam at the line of scrimmage. Due to the injured wrist, Revis did have that valuable part of his game at his disposal.

All indications are that Revis is healthy heading into Week 1. He was able to play in the second and third game of the preseason for the Jets, and even had an interception against the Washington Redskins. Expect to see a very motivated Revis on Sunday, as he will look to prove that he is still the man.

Prediction: A.J. Green totals three receptions and 36 receiving yards.
