One of the standouts in camp for the Giants has been wide receiver Geremy Davis. With Victor Cruz’s status being very uncertain at this point, the Giants are relying on Davis to contribute this season.

Davis’ hamstring injury might be starting to become a concern for the Giants, as he didn’t travel with the team to Buffalo. In the loss against the Dolphins, Davis totaled two receptions for 21 receiving yards. Even though it doesn’t seem like a lot, only Shepard totaled more receiving yards in the game than Davis. However, Davis’ two receptions were the most of any receiver on the team.

Hamstrings are a tricky injury to deal with for players and teams, and the Giants need to be careful with Davis. As a projected important part of the offense, keeping Davis healthy for the rest of the summer will be important for the Giants.

With Davis out, others will have the opportunity to shine for the Giants’ offense against the Bills.
