With the second preseason game of the season almost here for the New York Giants, they will be looking to improve on some things from Week 1. Against the Miami Dolphins, the Giants might have lost the game, but their starting defense was very impressive in the win.

This offseason, the Giants spent a lot of money to upgrade the defense, and the unit looked pretty good. Against the Dolphins, quarterback Ryan Nassib was given a big opportunity to showcase himself. After one good drive, Nassib fell apart for the Giants and was one of the reasons why they lost the game.

In addition to losing the game, the Giants also took some hits on the injury front. In the loss, they saw two of their draft picks leave the game early with injuries. Both Eli Apple and Sterling Shepard left the game early, as it was a big concern for the Giants. Luckily, Shepard’s hamstring injury hasn’t turned out to be much.

For Apple and some other members of the Giants, they haven’t been as lucky with their injuries. With the game against the Bills on Saturday night, here is the latest injury buzz for the Giants heading into the game.
