New York Knicks: 6 Games To Circle On 2016-17 Schedule
Friday, November 4th @ Chicago Bulls
This will be the first of three meetings between the Bulls and Knicks this upcoming season, and each one will be worth watching. The biggest reason is the all the players that switched side this offseason.
The Knicks have the Bulls’ former face of the franchise Derrick Rose running the show for them, in addition to long-time Bull Noah. The Bulls have Robin Lopez and Jerian Grant from the Rose trade, and it will also be the first time the Knicks face off against Dwyane Wade in a uniform that is not a Miami Heat one.
This will be the first time that Rose and Noah return to Chicago as visitors, as they spent the first eight and nine years respectively, in Chicago. This will be especially special for Rose, the Chicago native, as he will be returning home for the first time. He and Noah should get a nice ovation during introductions for all that they gave the franchise, but once the game starts the goodwill will probably go out the door.
The Bulls, like the Knicks, are a team that will be looking to jump into the postseason picture this season after missing last season. These games could have a big impact on the postseason, as the Bulls and Knicks will both be fighting for positioning throughout the season.
