5.) Week 2 at Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football

Rex Ryan and the Buffalo Bills were a thorn in the side of the Jets last season, as they defeated them twice and cost them a spot in the playoffs last season after a Week 17 win in Buffalo. After what will be an emotional home-opener for the Jets in Week 1 against the Bengals, they will have a short week in Week 2 with a Thursday night game against the team that burned them last season.

The Bills didn’t have a great season in 2015, but Ryan sure did get his players motivated to beat the Jets. The Jets should have revenge on their minds heading into Week 2, but this could be a very different looking team compared to last season. Ryan Fitzpatrick played very poorly against his former team last season, and the finale in Buffalo could be one of the reasons why he hasn’t been signed yet.

Thursday Night Football is a tricky game for players and especially this early on in the season. When these two teams met on Thursday night last season, it was an extremely ugly game. In the second week of the season on a short week, expect to see some sloppy football from both teams.
