Passing Offense Grade: A+

After a lackluster performance against the Jets last week, the Giants passing attack woke up in a big way against the Panthers. Eli Manning had easily his best game of the season, and arguably the best in his career. He set a franchise record in the process, as Manning was unstoppable throughout the evening.

He finished the game completing 27-of-31, which was a career-high and franchise record for completion percentage in a game. He threw for 337 yards and four touchdowns, and was not sacked in the game. The Dolphins had no answer to slowing down the Giants aerial attack.

Odell Beckham Jr. once again led the way, catching seven of nine targets for 166 yards and two touchdowns. He broke loose for an 84-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter that proved to be the game winner, blowing by the Dolphins secondary with a beautiful double move.

Unlike in past weeks though, he got some help tonight. Rueben Randle, Will Tye and Dwayne Harris all caught five passes, as Randle and Tye each caught a touchdown. Randle stepped up after complaining about his role in the offense earlier in the week with 58 yards. Tye was reliable over the middle once again as a safety valve for 30 yards, while Harris added 41.

It was nice to see other players step up behind Beckham Jr., as a reason for the Giants’ struggles in recent weeks was only having Beckham Jr. perform. Hopefully this is something that can continue, as the Giants passing offense was clicking on all cylinders.
