Special Teams Grade: A-
The Giants special teams had one slip up today, but it was a big one. They allowed Danny Amendola to break off an 82-yard punt return that didn’t result in a touchdown only because his own player ran into him around the 10-yard line. Outside of that, their coverage teams were strong once again.
Amendola gained only two yards on his other punt return, and was held in check returning kickoffs, gaining only 71 yards on four tries for an average of 17.8 yards per return.
The Giants were held relatively in check in the return game as well, as Dwayne Harris averaged only 19 yards per kick return. He did have an impact returning punts, gaining 41 yards on four attempts, with a long of 17 yards.

Brad Wing was solid once again with his punts, which he was called upon four times to do. He had a long of 53 yards, pinning one inside the 20-yard line and once again kicking none into the endzone for touchbacks. He averaged 41 yards a punt, as he continues his strong season punting for the Giants after it had been a struggle in recent seasons.
Josh Brown continues to be automatic for the Giants as well. He extended his consecutive field goal streak to 27, knocking in four field goals against the Patriots. He nailed them from 37, 38, 53 and 29 yards as he continues making things worthwhile for the Giants even if their offense is unable to finish a drive with a touchdown. He also knocked through both of his extra points.
Brown is now 23-of-23 on the season, with the 53 yarder tying for his season long. He also has the most made field goals on the season, which is a good and bad thing depending on how you want to look at it.
