Player Of The Game: Arron Afflalo

Afflalo played in only his second game of the season, but he looked like he is now fully immersed with the team. He looked comfortable on both ends of the court tonight, and picked up right where he left off in his season debut.

He was strong offensively once again, scoring 14 points on 6-of-13 from the field, as he has the looks of someone that can be the Robin to Anthony’s Batman. He looks like he still needs to get his legs under him a bit, as he made only 1-of-4 from deep, and the one make was in the first half from the short corner. Once he gets that down, he will really help the Knicks.

Tonight he showed that he can be a go-to scorer to take some pressure off Anthony. He made a jumper over Matthew Dellavedova to tie up the game late, as he showed off his ability to work in the post. He also can knock down the midrange jumper and create for himself.

Afflalo also added three rebounds and four assists as he did a little more than just score tonight. As he continues to get his conditioning back up, Afflalo will become that much more efficient and helpful on the court.
