Jets vs. Patriots: Preview, Game Time and TV Schedule

The New York Jets have been a surprising team thus far this season, entering Week 7 with a 4-1 record. There are still some people that are skeptical of the Jets success, but they will be able to quiet those doubters this week with a big game against the New England Patriots. The Patriots enter the game as one of five undefeated teams, entering this AFC East matchup with a 5-0 record.

This is a big game for both teams. The Jets are looking to gain respect around the league, as many pundits believe their four wins aren’t overly impressive. They will be looking to keep pace with the Patriots in the division, and if they can pull off the upset victory will pull into a tie for first place.

For the Patriots, this is just another chance to showcase their dominance. They would like to put the upstart Jets away, giving themselves a big cushion in the AFC East. They have been on a war path thus far this season with Tom Brady at the helm, as they look to stick it to the NFL after their attempt to have Brady suspended the first four games of the season didn’t go as planned, as Brady won a court case to play in all the game.

If the Jets are to pull off the win in Foxboro, they will once again lean heavily on Chris Ivory. Ivory has been one of, if not the best running back in the NFL this season, averaging an NFL best 114 yards per game. He is fourth currently in the NFL in total rushing yards, gaining 460 yards in four games in 83 carries for 5.5 yards per carry. If he continues that success, the Jets have a great chance at pulling off the win.

Another headline for this game is Darrelle Revis. Revis, who started his career with the Jets and came back this offseason, left the Patriots to do so, but not before he won a Super Bowl ring with them. Will Brady and the Patriots aerial attack led by Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edeleman be able to have success against Revis and the new look Jets secondary that includes old nemesis Antonio Cromartie and new additions Buster Skrine and Marcus Gilchirst?

You’ll have to tune in to find out, as Todd Bowles will enter the Jets vs. Patrios rivalry for the first time. Can’t figure out where to find the game? Don’t worry; we have you covered with all the information that you will need.
