The New York Giants will be facing off with the Philadelphia Eagles tonight on Monday Night Football. This game is extremely important for both teams, as the NFC East is right there for the taking.

The Giants are coming into the game with some newfound confidence. They are riding a three-game winning streak after two heartbreaking losses to start the season. Because of that, they are now sitting in first place in the NFC East as the Dallas Cowboys have lost three games in a row.

The Eagles, meanwhile, have had an up-and-down season and come into this contest with a 2-3 record. Like the Giants though they are beginning to gain more confidence, as their offense is beginning to get on track. They racked up an absurd 519 yards against the New Orleans Saints last week in a blowout 39-17 victory.

That could spell bad news for the Giants, who are faced with an injury list that reads like a Pro Bowl roster. Already without Jason Pierre-Paul and Victor Cruz, the Giants have added Prince Amukamara to the out list for at least the next 2-4 weeks because of a partially torn pectoral muscle. Devon Kennard is also out for the game, while Robert Ayers, Jon Beason and Jonathan Casillas are all questionable. Add in the fact that Odell Beckham Jr. is very questionable, and the Giants are facing an uphill battle to say the least.

The Giants have faced adversity basically all season though, as they do not have the most talented roster but have managed to maximize the talents of what they have and turn it into positives. Will they be able to do that again against the high flying Eagles?

We will have to wait and find out tonight when the Giants travel to take on the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. Before watching the NFC East rivals battle it out, check out our five bold predictions for Monday Night Football.
