The New York Giants will be traveling to take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 4. The Giants are coming off their first win of the season in Week 3 over the Washington Redskins last Thursday, so they had some extra time to rest up and prepare for the Bills, who are 2-1 through three games. Their only loss of the season came against the New England Patriots in Week 2 and they are coming off a convincing win on the road over AFC East rival Miami Dolphins.

The Giants will be looking to continue building on the momentum from last Thursday’s first win of the season. They are beginning to get healthier, and in a division as wide open as the NFC East currently is, could find themselves in a tie for first place with a victory. The Bills on the other hand are looking to keep pace with the Patriots and New York Jets in the AFC East, who are 3-0 and 2-1 respectively.

More from New York Giants

This should be one of the more entertaining games of the week. The Bills are an upstart team, and with the boisterous Rex Ryan at the helm he made sure everyone knew it. They haven’t disappointed yet, destroying the Indianapolis Colts and Dolphins around a rough loss to the Patriots. Meanwhile, the Giants bring an offense that looks to finally be putting things together, and will only get more help this week with a certain someone returning from injury.

For an early season game, this one carries a lot of importance for teams facing off from opposite conferences. The Bills are trying to prove that they are legitimate playoff contenders, while the Giants are attempting to return to prominence for one last playoff run. It is two teams in different places in terms of roster development, but have the same goal in mind to legitimize themselves amongst the so called contending teams.

It will make for a fun game as both teams could really use a win to keep the good vibes going. What will it take for one team to get the victory Sunday afternoon? One of these players stepping up would be a big help.
