The New York Giants will be hosting the Atlanta Falcons in their 2015 season opener later this afternoon. The Giants will be looking to avoid an 0-2 start after a heartbreaking loss to the Dallas Cowboys Week 1, while the Falcons are looking to move to 2-0 after a nice win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.

This game will be another matchup of explosive offenses, as Las Vegas is expecting a high scoring game with the over/under being set at 51 points. This is the second consecutive week the Giants are in the game with the second highest over/under set. A big reason for that is the playmakers that will be on display catching passes from Eli Manning and Matt Ryan, with Odell Beckham Jr. and Julio Jones being the highlights.

With two defenses that struggled to get after the quarterback in Week 1, a true aerial display could be in store this afternoon. Both the Giants and Falcons failed to register a sack in their season opening games, as their opponents were able to stand in the pocket and pick apart the defense was precision and without much pressure.

This will be the second consecutive season that the Giants and Falcons will be facing off, as the Giants won last year’s meeting 30-20, which also happened to be the first game of Beckham Jr.’s career as well.

If you want to tune in to watch the game, we got your back. Here is all the information you need to know before enjoying the game between the Giants and Falcons this afternoon.

When: 1:00 PM ET
Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey
TV Channel: FOX
Announcers: Kevin Burkhardt, John Lynch
Weather: 75 degrees, Sunny, 0% precipitation, 38% humidity, 14 MPH Winds North
Betting Line: Giants 2.5 point favorites, 51 points over/under

The Giants and Falcons are getting a beautiful day to play football Sunday afternoon. With no chance of inclement weather and a fair 75 degrees, it should be a well played, clean game. The Falcons are notoriously worse on the road away from their Georgia Dome. But, at 75 degrees and wind being the only real factor, this is tame compared to some weather they would face outdoors.

Also, Burkhardt and Lynch may not be recognized as FOX’s top broadcast team, but they are a great duo to listen to. Burkhardt has flourished as a play-by-play guy with FOX since his time as a field reporter with the New York Mets. Lynch has also improved as a color commentator, as his experience playing brings an added dimension to the broadcast with his strong insights and analysis. They started out as the No.4 pairing at FOX in 2013, but have quickly moved up to No.2, with Pam Oliver as their sideline reporter.

While inactive lists have not yet been released, we know a few players that will not be on the field. For the Giants, Victor Cruz, Owa Odighizuwa, Markus Kuhn and Daniel Fells were already announced out. For the Falcons, Malliciah Goodman, Devin Hester and Brooks Reed are all out.
