16.) Tennessee Titans (1-0)
It was a shocking game from the Tennessee Titans in Week 1, as they dominated the Buccaneers. Second overall pick Marcus Mariota looked great in his debut, as he totaled 209 passing yards, four passing touchdowns, and six rushing yards.
A lot of conversation this offseason was about Mariota transitioning into the pro game, but after one week it looks like he is very comfortable. Mariota also had help from the running game, as Bishop Sankey totaled 74 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown.
The Titans may have won their first game of the season, but it will be highly unlikely that they can stay in the top half of the NFL Power Rankings after Week 2, as they are the worst 1-0 team as of now.
15.) San Francisco 49ers (1-0)
The San Francisco 49ers almost underwent a complete overhaul this offseason with a new coaching staff and a lot of new players on both sides of the ball. One of the most notable moves by the 49ers was to give Carlos Hyde the reigns after a great career for Frank Gore in San Francisco.
Hyde made the 49ers brass look very smart for believing in him in Week 1, as he totaled 168 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. It was a pretty ugly game to watch, but the 49ers were sharper in the second half and that helped them get a 20-3 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

14.) New York Jets (1-0)
The New York Jets were able to start off their season with a win at home against the Cleveland Browns. The Jets used veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick to fill in for the injured Geno Smith, and Fitzpatrick was able to play well in a win.
Fitzpatrick totaled 179 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and one interception in the 31-14 win. One of Fitzpatrick’s favorite targets in the game was the newly acquired wide receiver, Brandon Marshall. In his debut with the Jets, Marshall totaled six receptions, 62 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdowns.
A major reason for the Jets win was their ability to dominate on the ground, as Chris Ivory totaled 91 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Backup running back Bilal Powell also played well by totaled 62 rushing yards.
Running the football and playing good defense will be the Jets’ recipe for success this season.
13.) Carolina Panthers (1-0)
The Carolina Panthers had a rather unimpressive win against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1. After winning the NFC South by default last season, the Panthers suffered a huge loss to their offense when Kelvin Benjamin went down with a torn ACL during the summer.
In the win, the Panthers only scored one touchdown on offense, as Cam Newton had only 175 passing yards, and Jonathon Stewart only totaled 56 rushing yards. The Panthers may be able to defeat the Jaguars with a poor offense, but they are going to have trouble beating good teams with those offensive numbers.
