Odell Beckham Jr. burst onto the scene in 2014 after missing the first four weeks of the season. What ensued was one of the greatest rookie seasons in NFL history, as Beckham Jr. quickly took the league by storm. One of the teams that saw that first hand was the Cowboys.

Of the 91 receptions, 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns that Beckham Jr. racked up, a good portion came against the Cowboys. In two games against their division rivals, Beckham was outstanding. He had 14 receptions for 180 yards and four touchdowns. The highlight of those receptions also came on Sunday night in the second meeting of the season, when Beckham Jr. made one of the greatest catches to date.

It should be more of the same for Beckham Jr. in Week 1 this time around; we’re not predicting another insane circus catch, but the production will be there. A lot is working in Beckham Jr.’s favor, such as Orlando Scandrick being out. Scandrick was the best cornerback on the Cowboys last season, but he will miss the 2015 season with a torn ACL. That means draft bust Morris Claiborne and free agent bust Brandon Carr will try and stop him down.

Also, Victor Cruz is looking unlikely to play in Week 1, so Beckham Jr. will have a couple more targets thrown his way. The more the merrier for him, as he will make the most of all the opportunities given to him Sunday night.

Prediction: Eight receptions, 115 yards, two touchdowns.
