The Giants have had awful luck with injuries last season, this offseason, and now this preseason. An already depleted secondary took even more hits in the loss to the Bengals. Rookie safeties Landon Collins and Mykkele Thompson left the game with injuries, and then they lost cornerbacks Trumaine McBride and Jayron Hosley.

Collins left the game with a knee injury, but came back for a few plays before having his night eventually come to an end. His X-rays were negative, but an MRI will likely be in his future. The injury to Thompson looks to be serious, as he was carted off the field with an Achilles injury.

McBride left with a hamstring injury, which is never good for a cornerback, and could also be a tough loss for the Giants if he misses time. Hosley was injured on a hit, and will be evaluated for a concussion.
